Republish course templates

Republish course templates when you have added new materials, folders, or settings and want to pass them on to the course sections in which the template was already published.

Materials and Folders	New materials and folders are added to course sections where the template was published, maintaining the template's order. Republishing updates the course sections to match the new template order, placing teacher-added materials below.
Grade Setup	New grading categories are added to courses upon republishing, even without linked materials. New grading scales or rubrics are only published if linked to new materials. Updates to existing materials or Grade Setup items are not included in template republishes.
Deleted Items	Items deleted from a course but still in the template are re-added when republished. Items deleted from the template are ignored if in the course from a previous publish.
Completion Rules	Completion rules and sequences in a template are applied when published to a course. If completion rules are deleted in a course but materials remain, the rules are not recreated upon republishing. If materials with completion rules are deleted, republishing restores the materials and their rules.
